Members of the Colorado County Wildlife Management Association and or if you hunt on W.M.A property
in Colorado County you are eligible to enter the CCWMA Whitetail Contest. The entry fee is $15 and this
covers the entire hunting season (10/1/11 – 1/15/12). Bucks harvested with a bow by all participants
during the entire hunting season will be eligible only for archery prizes and lowest scoring buck. Youth
rifle hunters (16yr. & younger on 09/1/11) are eligible for only youth prizes and lowest scoring buck
during the entire hunting season.

Rules: Texas Parks & Wildlife Department rules and regulations enforced.
Deer must be free-ranging and harvested on WMA property.
Deer must be at least 4.5 years old.
Deer must be scored and aged by WMA scorers.
WMA scorer's information taken is final. (Committee may review results) Scoring will be based on the gross Boone & Crockett score.
Tie breaker: Total of the right base, longest tine and inside spread. Deer must be scored within 48 hours of the harvest. Complete non-frozen head must be brought in.
